Sugar Rose Boutique has opened at 410 E Main Street in downtown Clayton featuring items made regionally and throughout North Carolina. Owners Patricia and Charles Tredway have sought a wide selection of hand made and created products from more than 35 local and regional artists and designers.
They have turned a small space into a treasure trove with a variety of handcrafted jewelry, one of a kind art pieces of wood, recycled items, bags, candles, pottery, glass, metals, soaps and much more.
Patricia and Charles have lived in Clayton since 2003. Patricia is a Registered Nurse, and Charles is retired from the State of New Jersey. They are very excited about promoting the arts and carrying handcrafted items in their store.
Downtown Development Coordinator Bruce Naegelen said, “There’s a great market for locally-made and hand-crafted items and we are excited to have another retail shop open in downtown Clayton.”
Sugar Rose Boutique is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Stop by to visit or call (919) 244-9055.
