The Town of Clayton actively seeks to identify minority and women owned businesses for opportunities to participate as providers of goods and services to the Town. The intent of the Town MWBE program to widen opportunities for participation, increase competition, increase the Town’s awareness of available minority, women and small business vendors, increase MWBE utilization in Town contracting and monitor, evaluate and reporting on MWBE enterprise participation in Town procurement. The Town of Clayton has a current verifiable goal of ten percent for minority participation for construction or repair projects and professional services.
